LATEST PROJECTS & COLLABORATIONS

Take a look at what we’ve been working on with others…

  • Working alongside the Anti Gym Gym Club, Girls To The Front has been assisting with providing an alternative provision for young people not in education, employment or training (NEET). This has included coaching, mentoring and evaluation. The reports can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

  • Here Girls Can is a local version of the national Sport England campaign ‘This Girl Can’. Here Girls Can is a movement which empowers girls to be more active and confident. Girls To The Front has helped deliver in-person zine workshops at their flagship conference taking place in Hereford in 2025 and has continued to work with the Strive Active to develop resources and toolkits to promote engagement with zines at a wider level. The co-produced zine can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

  • LTF is a running festival based in the Gower, Swansea. A weekend of running, music and wellness in one of the best settings in the world. Girls To The Front delivered movement sessions throughout the weekend and was able to spread the message of finding your voice, making space and being your own brand across workshops and talks. We gave out a ton of zines!

  • Able to add our voice to this important piece of work. View the documentary here.

No Place Like Home is a powerful short documentary made by The Mioe Women's Collective, exploring domestic violence against women; tracing its roots to misogyny and asking why, in 2025, 1 in 4 women in the UK still aren’t safe in their own homes? Through archive and interviews with people working in the community sector, the film asks how we can stop the cycle of male violence and make the world safer for women and children. Made in partnership with Women's Aid, Ryan Evans Media and with funding from The Lottery Community Fund.

  • Giving girls a voice in rugby! Girls To The Front was invited to a girls event prior to the Wales v England Six Nations fixture in 2025 to speak to girls about why rugby is important to them. We produced this report for the WRU - Report link at the bottom of the page.

  • Girls To The Front ran a series of zine workshops and engagement sessions to raise the voices of young people who use the skatepark. The evidence generated was used to help Exist secure future funding to allow them to keep running their provision in the local area. We produced two zines which are available to purchase in our shop.

We have also been able to develop a partnership which has allowed Girls To The Front to run Intro To Skate sessions for young girls.
