What do we do?

Our activities are designed to dismantle the barriers of low confidence and fear of judgment that often cause girls to disengage during adolescence. Everything we offer is underpinned by co-production; we provide the "skeleton," and the girls provide the heart, adapting every session to suit their own needs and voices.

Movement As Resistance

We reframe physical activity as a tool for agency and reclaiming space. Traditional sports often demand that girls adapt to rigid, competitive systems; we offer an alternative rooted in play and autonomy.

  • Weekly, in-person sessions held in safe, inclusive environments, such as our flagship Swansea-based gym.

  • We help girls experience their bodies as capable and strong, countering cultural messages that suggest they should be passive.

  • Sessions are intrinsically motivated and self-directed, allowing girls to move on their own terms.

Creative Advocacy & Self-Publishing

We use the "DIY" ethos of the 1990s Riot Grrrl movement to show girls they don’t need permission to be heard.

  • Girls create and self-publish their own magazines (zines) to explore identity and express opinions.

  • By self-publishing, girls share their experiences without requiring validation from media, institutions, or authority figures.

  • Our creative spaces facilitate vital conversations on period positivity, misogyny, body image, and mental health.

Knowledge-Sharing & Leadership

We ensure that the insights gained in our sessions reach the wider community to create systemic change.

  • We utilize Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to amplify girls’ voices and disseminate knowledge on health and societal issues.

  • We develop empowering resources and courses to equip the public with the tools needed to uplift and support young girls.
